Choosing Character Names
A name can say things about a character that would take paragraphs to convey and yet depicting a character with their name does not come across as decisive.
I have even stooped so low as to Google baby names.
ReplyDeleteTime period, recent past, archaic or trendy is a consideration.
Sexual temperament is a consideration. It should fit. Macho vs vulnerable, Very feminine vs Strong willed.
An Uncommon name is ok under some circumstances, but an exotic or complicated name can be a burden.
